Publication Schemes are something new and we would welcome any comments/suggestions (or complaints) you may have with regard to this Scheme. It is expected that the Publication Scheme will develop considerably over the years and you are invited to contribute towards its development. If we are unable to resolve any complaint, you can complain to the Scottish Information Commissioner, whose contact details are in paragraph 3.0.

From 1st January 2005, when the general right of access comes into force, there will be a formal appeal mechanism when information is withheld. Further details on this will be available on the Commissioner’s website before this date.
