Scottish Parliamentary Elections - 6th May 2021

The majority of Poll Cards have now been issued. If you have recently registered you will receive a poll card prior to the 28th April. You do not require to take your poll card with you when voting, however it will save time if you take it to the polling station and show it to the poll clerk there.

If you have submitted a postal vote application for this Election prior to the 31st March, the returning officer will issue your postal vote ballot paper prior to the 20th April. If you submitted a postal vote application after the 31st March, your postal vote ballot paper will be issued in a subsequent run, but should arrive no later than the 23rd April.

If you are not on the Electoral Register, the deadline to register for the 6th May election was Monday 19th April, however you can still register to vote for future elections visit

You still have time to apply for a Proxy to vote on your behalf for this election if you are unable to attend the polling station.
